The website in place is already serving this client's needs, so instead of doing a complete redesign, the project involved reorganizing the navigation menu and putting together a new landing page that emphasizes the most important aspects of her business: the video production company, the launch of her new book and the workshops.
The project also included setting up an email campaign manager, a very simple CMS and website traffic reporting.
By the way, if you're interested in purchasing her book, it's available online at
Createspace!
Here is a brand new email newsletter design for Winners' Camp Foundation. View the entire newsletter online at: http://tinyurl.com/2fy9hoc.
It's very image-rich and readable.
I provided all of the photography services for them and created the header graphics. For more information about Winners' Camp (they have provided leadership trainings for teenagers since 1985!) visit http://www.winnerscamp.com.
This is a flyer design used in online promotions for the first Networking Luncheon of 2010 with the Hawai'i Kai Chamber of Commerce. We integrated the flyer with the online ticket manager system (Eventbrite) and offered online ticket sales right from the home page of the website. Below is a screenshot of the completed event webpage where people purchase tickets using Paypal or credit cards. This is an example of how everything needs to tie together: graphic design, event marketing, online ticket sales and paypal integration.
While the screenshot might look like a simple (and somewhat skinny) website, it's actually an email! Hawaii Leadership Academy has been creating some really fun emails over the past 6 months with embedded YouTube videos from the Founding Director, interesting stories, and live links to the Facebook Fan page, the main website, and the online donations page, all of which we've set up together.
In addition to being able to create customized and eyecatching emails, their contact lists are automatically managed. People can subscribe/unsubscribe, and bounced emails are 'cleaned' regularly by the system.
Hawaii Leadership Academy has been able to stay in closer touch with the huge ohana of graduates, donors, families and supporting businesses, and the general response has been incredibly positive: people are forwarding the newsletters to their friends and visiting the website!
The aim of the video contest is to get the teens and community actively involved by offering a grand prize of a full scholarship to Winners' Camp. Elements of the project include design of the contest website; compilation of all rules and regulations for the contest; html newsletter announcement; updates to Facebook Fan page and camp blog; announcement on home page of main website; marketing to local organizations; and creation of the YouTube Group that will display all of the final entries.
We just set up a basic Paypal-based storefront for Underwater Goddess. Customers can purchase greeting cards (packs of 6) or original works of art. This is an incredibly cost-effective solution for getting started with selling products or services online: set up a Paypal account, generate button code and product thumbnails, upload to the website, spread the word and start taking orders.
